About the Kashmiri Carpet Design

Rust-orange stripes run across a soft ivory base in sharp chevron lines, meeting and folding into large nested V and diamond shapes. It offers the decorative character of a Kashmiri carpet in a contemporary design, at a far lower price, and it’s much easier to clean and care for day to day.

Will it fit your room?

Living room. It suits a room of about 9 × 11 ft with a 2- or 3-seater sofa. Run the long side of the rug parallel to the sofa, let the sofa’s front legs rest on it, and place the centre table in the middle. This links the seating area together while leaving some floor visible around the edges.

Bedroom. Lay it crosswise under the lower half of a queen or double bed, so about 1 ft of rug shows on each side. With a king bed, it works better at the foot of the bed or beside it.

Lounge or office. It defines a reading corner, a pair of accent chairs, or an executive waiting area.

Tip: Mark out 5 × 8 ft on your floor with tape before you order. It’s the quickest way to see how the rug will sit with your furniture.
